Judith Kloibhofer
Judith Kloibhofer is a research assistent in the Land Use Change and Climate Research group at IMK-IFU, Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Her current research is part of the EU Horizon project wildE (https://www.wilde-project.eu/), which explores climate-smart rewilding as a solution to the twin threats of climate change and biodiverstiy loss. Within this project she focuses on identifying areas with high rewilding potential today and assessing how this potential might change under alternative future scenarios.
Judith has a background in landscape ecology and environmental planning, with research interest spanning regional spatial analysis, studying the impacts of policies on land use, and the mapping of plants and birds as indicators of landscape conditions.
